From the February Issues of the 'Collegiate Connection'
During Fall Recruitment at the University of Georgia, a very special legacy walked through the doors of the Alpha Alpha Chapter of Phi Mu... the great, great, great grandaughter of Martha Hardaway Redding.
Meredith Scarboro learned of her connection to our founder as she began preparing for college and thinking about recruitment. She is a direct descendant to Martha Hardway Redding on her mother's side, but to Meredith's knowledge she is the the first Phi Mu in her family since Martha. "It is a huge honor to know that one of my relatives started such a strong, successful organization," says Meredith.
Meredith says she could tell immediately that Phi Mu was different from the other sororities. Alpha Alpha had an extremely welcoming atmosphere and she knew it was a place where she could "feel at home."
Meredith is very proud to be involved with Phi Mu, and she hopes it can become a family tradition. "It's been a wonderful experience and I am loving every minute of it," Meredith says. "I'm sure it's only going to get better."

1:09PM - True story time!
So Maria was my secret biker buddy and she gave me this thoughtful gift of a singing lion's head on a stick. It's really cool...HOWEVER, my dad saw it recently and has now decided that every morning (and sometimes in the middle of the night) I need a wake up call...That's right. My dad shoves this head in my face so it can roar and sing to me.

OK! I think I'm done with the info page. I changed the subtitle because at the time of the creation of this community, I wrote/typed a pretty random subtitle. Sorry, y'all. I also messed around with the info. If you feel like there should be changes made, let me know! See you guys soon!
